During a press conference held at the E3 Expo, ASTRO Gaming announced that it is to unleash a new gaming headset. Unlike most peripherals the company has launched so far, ASTRO A10 is a budget-friendly model. The headset is fully compatible with PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo switch. Devices compatible with PC will sell at $60. The headset supporting Xbox One will cost around $100. A10 models are expected to be distributed among all major online and offline retailers no later than June 21st.

The main reason why the company decided to unleash A10 was the fact that many gamers speak favorably of the premium quality ASTRO-branded products but the hefty price tag makes them think twice before making a purchase. The new A10 gaming headset targets gamers with tight wallets.

ASTRO representatives reassured that the reduced price does not come at the expense of poor quality. They confirmed that the company maintains the same quality standards incorporated in the products that cost three times more.

ASTRO’s vice president of marketing, Aron Drayer, commented that the company has spent almost one and a half year in developing the A10 gaming headset project. He also added that the product was made with durability in mind.

The A10 headset features 40mm Neodymium magnet drivers with frequency response ranging from 20Hz to 20kHz, and a removable 6.0 mm Omni-directional microphone. Headset’s weight is 346 grams. PC users can choose between three colors – green, red, or blue. The PC version also ships with a volume cable and a splitter cable. There is an optional MixAmp M60 among the game-voice balance options. Xbox One owners have EQ preset modes at their disposal.

In terms of comfort, the ASTRO A10 model comes with memory foam ear cushions. It works with the Dolby Access app and precisely mimics the effects of the Dolby Atmos technology.

During the press conference, company representatives also revealed that ASTRO Gaming was actively seeking new partnerships with retailers. They also confirmed ASTRO’s long-term commitment to continue designing gaming peripherals boasting about premium quality and sensible price.
