As of yesterday, Call of Duty fans are granted the Infinite Warfare update. The latter is intended to fix several bugs and it is also seen as a preparation for the approaching weekly featured mode.

According to publisher’s announcement, the patch addresses the following bugs:

  • The audio issue in Uplink and Defender modes
  • The issue related to the AP-3X where players were unable to call in if they had previously done that and immediately jumped afterwards
  • The weapon tracking bug, regarding the Records section of the Barracks in Zombies

As far as the above-mentioned bugs are concerned the majority of players speak well of them and the incorrect weapon tracking fixture, in particular. The overall impression was that the Uplink audio and the glitch AP-3X call-ins issues almost spoiled the fun. Upon the release of the Infinite Warfare, gaming forums were flooded with feedback about the patch.

Some players reported a bug with the patch. The problem stemmed from the fact that their NAT type changed from Open to Moderate or Strict right after the update. Activision representatives suggested opening the correct ports of the router and contacting their customer support if the problem is persistent.

Speaking of the latest news regarding the Call of Duty, players are impatient to get some more information about the Call of Duty WWII multiplayer mode. Rumor has it that the Call of Duty WW2 might be the third major COD release of 2017.

The scarce information available suggests that the multiplayer game will certainly have a War mode as well as a new social space, the so-called Headquarters. According to a publisher’s announcement, the idea behind the new mode is to encourage players to improve their strategy, coordination and teamwork. However, COD fans can only second-guess what that is supposed to mean and expect more details to be unleashed during the E3 event.

Players also have high expectations of Activision to reveal insights into the  single player campaign. The biggest change will be that players will have to rely on their AI squadmates to provide health and ammo packs instead of regenerating health naturally or picking random ammo packs for weapons.

As for the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare update, it is currently available across all live servers. It delivers three game modes- Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombie mode, respectively.
