A New Game Plus mode is coming to Assassin’s Creed: Origins. That’s what game’s community manager Dominik Voigt “domvgt” confirmed via reddit when asked for more information on the matter. For the time being, information remains scarce, although “domvgt” reassured the community that more details will be revealed soon.

The Assassin’s Creed: Origins will be the first title to receive the new Game + feature. Essentially, the New Game Plus mode will enable players to restart the game once they finish it and have all weapons, levels, skills available from the beginning. Previously, the Assassin’s Creed games allowed players to replay missions, but those who wanted to play through the entire game from the beginning had to delete their saves.

The replay mode is one of the much-needed improvements and players have been asking for such since October when Assassin’s Creed: Origins was launched.

Earlier this month, Ubisoft revealed that they were “investigating the possibility” of adding a New Game + feature, but it was not until the last weekend when players got a confirmation from company’s representative.

According to the majority of players, the new mode will be a perfect fit for the Assassin’s Creed: Origins as it is an RPG with quite a strong emphasis on loot.

In related news, the game received the Hidden Ones DLC last week, and a new city, as well as new targets and diversions to the world, were added. A “Nightmare” difficulty mode was also released.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
