Blizzard Faces Questions on Necro’s Refusal to Dance

Diablo 3’s Necromancer had its debut mere days ago and players have quickly defined it as “explosively bloody”. However, they bombarded Blizzard with questions about Necromancer refusal to dance. As usual, Blizzard representatives used the battle.net forum to address players’ concerns.

Most characters in Diablo 3 bust a move when the dance command is input, but that is not applicable to the Necromancer. Instead of dancing, they cross their arms and shake their head.

Nevalistis, a Community Manager, released a statement, containing Blizzard’s stance on the matter.

He said that Blizzard developers have discussed the topic concerning the most suitable dance for the Necro. He also said that it was not in Necromancer’s nature to do something “a jovial as dance”. Blizzard’s employee also suggested players have a second look at the Campaign mode and find out more about their nature. Nevalistis concluded his statement with the announcement that the developer would reveal more information about what exactly Priests of Rathma represent in the next few days.

However, the above announcement did not manage to calm players down. On the contrary- it further fueled the discussions on Necro’s dancing abilities. Fans said that these were poor arguments and added that even a Day of the Dead dance would have sufficed.

Diablo 3 players reminded that in Heroes of the Storm, Xur busts a move, and defined Blizzard’s excuse as nothing but lame. Others directly accused Blizzard of laziness and attempt to cut down on development costs and generate more profits.

Some of the more quick-tempered fans asked Blizzard to explain why Necros have wait, follow and overhere emotions in their voice lines and sarcastically requested Blizzard to make them as plain as possible to justify the above statement.

Blizzard keeps rolling out new content into Diablo 3 with the latest update being the return of the Necromancer character class from the previous game. Aside from the dancing issue, fans consider Necro as a blast to play. Its most exciting attack is the corpse explosion that enables them to make a downed foe’s body explode and take other opponents down.
