After launching the challenging RPG Nioh to PS4, Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo announced that the game is coming to Windows PC via Steam. The Nioh: Complete Edition includes the original game as well as three expansions – Bloodshed’s End, Defiant Honour, and Dragon of the North, respectively.
According to some players, who have tried the PS4 version, there was a lot of room for improvement as far as graphics were concerned. It seems the developer has taken into account the feedback and the PC version will come with two visual presentation modes. The Action mode will run at 60 fps frame rate, and the Movie Mode will feature a 4K display resolution. The Steam version will also include the Dharmachakra Kabuto helmet.
Koei elaborates: “all seven weapon types, ninjutsu and onmyo magics will be available to players from the beginning, while finishing the core game will also unlock features like the Dual Guardian Spirit.”
Nioh: Complete Edition will be released on November 7th. At the time of writing, the pricing of the Steam version has not been announced.
Fumihiko Yasuda, game’s director, said that the gaming community has been repeatedly asking for a PC version of Nioh and remained hopeful that players will “enjoy the unforgettable drama and deeply challenging Yokai battles” Nioh offers.
