Bethesda has released a new trailer for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Although it is not as packed with action as some players may have expected, their attention is inevitably captured by one tense scene and … a strawberry milkshake.
The Wolfenstein: The New Order is known for the memorable scenes between the Nazi commanders and BJ Blazkowicz and the newly unleashed trailer proves that The New Colossus is not an exception.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a successor of the Wolfenstein: The New Order. The sequel takes the fight to Nazi-occupied America. The game action itself takes place in 1961. The protagonist BJ Blazkowicz joins forces with a resistance group in an attempt to take down the Nazi regime and make a “second American Revolution”.
In the trailer, players can see BJ Blazkowicz undercover as a fireman in a diner. BJ takes a seat and shortly after, a high-ranking Nazi comes in. The situation gets extremely tense when he says he recognizes BJ.
As for the strawberry milkshake, it turns out to be the “favorite American thing” of the inquisitive Nazi Kommandant who visits the diner in Roswell, New Mexico.
The diner scene was revealed at the E3 when Bethesda introduced the original announce trailer. However, now it provides players with a closer look at what the Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus gameplay feels like.
The Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 27. The strawberry milkshake trailer promises that the game will feature tension and plenty of gunning.
As reported by RealGear, the Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be among the games supporting Xbox One X 4K resolution. The new console hits the shelves on November 7th.
