In a few hours, the World of Warcraft regular maintenance will be complete and players will gain access to the imposed changes. Survival Hunters, Windwalker and Havoc Demon Hunters will receive major buffs. These buffs are intended to encourage a larger number of skills used in rotations. The buffs will also have an impact on the PvP and the Legion Season Four, in particular, that started on June 13th.sram

As for the upcoming changes to the game classes, the Havoc Demon Hunters will have their abilities buffed, so their Havoc Talent Tree skills will do two percent more damage. The Demonic Presence mastery will be boosted and will add an additional 7% to the current 11% damage buff. The damage element of the Demon’s Bite will jump by the whopping 46%.

Windwalker Monks will receive a 2% increase for the whole talent tree, as well as a 12% Fists of Fury damage increase. The Agony damage and Corruption for Affliction Warlocks will be reduced by 5%, though. As for Survival Hunter abilities, they will get a 4% increase when the maintenance ends.

These changes come a few weeks after patch 7.2.5 release. The WoW development team has also hosted a class balance AMA and put forward the idea of implementing changes only to PvP before the full balance pass. It seems the changes were quite important to the raids progression. Also, the Mythic raid tiers opening is just around the corner.

As far as the balance changes are concerned, the community manager Josh Allen (Devolore) commented on the matter and said that the class tuning in Legion was an ongoing process. He added that WoW developers were constantly monitoring the performance and considering changes wherever necessary.

Some fans, however, disagreed with that statement and accused WoW of putting too much effort on Monks and Druids while neglecting the DKs, DHs, and Warriors.

Apart from the regular maintenance, WoW will also get a hotfix, addressing the Tomb of Sargeras raid. The hotfix brings changes to the Desolate Host, Sisters of the Moon, and the Kil’jaeden fights within the raid. Kil’jaeden will no longer switch directions while firing the Bursting Dreadflame ability; Multiple sisters will not be active simultaneously. Five Writhing Essences for the first Legion Heroic dungeon will also be introduced. The updates are live but players may need client-side patch during normal maintenance.
