The hardware maker Corsair announced that it has added yet another headset to its award-winning line-up. The company introduced the budget-friendly HS50 trio headsets designed for PCs, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobiles. Corsair focused on providing users with comfort and ultimately clear sound rather than implementing advanced features, which has led to a considerable price reduction.
The HS50 stereo headsets come in grey, blue, and green, but they are identical in terms of design and performance. They feature 50mm neodymium drivers for superior sound quality.
The detachable, unidirectional mic reduces ambient noise. The headset is Discord-certified meaning your teammates will hear you loud and clear even during the most intense battles.
The HS50 comes with aluminum construction and adjustable plush ear cups. The memory foam padding ensures maximum comfort during long hours of usage. While the HS50 headset is not suitable for audiophiles, it is a perfect device for casual gamers. Customers have already drawn a parallel between the HS50 and Kingston’s HyperX Cloud.
In terms of connectivity, the HS50 has a universal 3.5mm connector that makes it compatible with a wide range of devices, but Xbox One users should keep in mind that a Microsoft 3.5mm adapter might be needed.
The Corsair HS50 headset is now available for purchase. Its retail price is significantly lower as compared to its siblings from the VOID series and its predecessor the HS40.
