HyperX, a division of Kingson Technology Company Inc. announced a new addition to its gaming line-up. The HyperX Cloud Alpha is a new generation gaming headset that will be officially introduced during the Gamescom event.

The Cloud Alpha is the worthy successor of the HyperX Cloud gaming headset. It is promoted as a device, ensuring utmost comfort during prolonged gaming sessions.

What makes the Cloud Alpha stand out from the competition is the so-called dual chamber technology feature. It is intended to enhance the sound quality across all platforms – PC, consoles, and mobile devices, respectively.

The new headset features 50mm drivers; the dual chambers allow the separation of the bass from the mids and highs. The Cloud Alpha headset has high-quality memory foam, and a soft, leatherette headband. The lightweight aluminum frame ensures users’ comfort during long gaming marathons. The headset has a detachable cable and in-line audio control that enables console players to adjust the volume and microphone functions to their liking.

Tyler Needles, HyperX Global Audio Business Manager, commented on the new arrival. He was quoted as saying that the dual chamber technology will deliver unrivaled sound quality and the headset is a good fit for top e-sports pros on a global scale.

As for the other news about HyperX, it is a sponsor of the first PUBG LAN Invitational tournament that will be held during the Gamescom 2017. The Cloud Alpha headsets will be used during the Invitational where players will compete for a fair share of the sweet $350,000 prize pool.

Paul Leaman, the Vice President EMEA at HyperX, will be among the Gamescom attendees. He will speak about the growing eSports popularity and the role of endemic sponsors on August 21st at 12 pm CET.

The Cloud Alpha headset will be available for purchase on September 25th. It will come at a price of $99.99.
