A few days ahead of the E3 event, the popular sound card and headset manufacturer Turtle Beach, announced that it will launch two wireless headsets. The Stealth 600 and Stealth 700 will be compatible with Xbox One, Xbox One S, the Project Scorpio Console, and PS4. They are expected to hit the shelves at the end of September 2017.

There will be two separate products from the 600 and 700 models- one for Xbox One and another one for PS4. The price of the 600 models is set at $99. The headsets from the Stealth 700 series will cost $150.

As for the technical characteristics of the new headsets, both models will feature 50mm speakers, wireless surround sound, and a microphone that can be flipped up and down. Although the headsets will work with PS4, Turtle Beach targets predominantly Xbox One owners. The headsets will support with Microsoft’s Xbox Wireless technology. They will hook up to the console in the same manner as an Xbox controller does. The models compatible with PS4 include a wireless USB transmitter that connects to the console via a channel-hopping technology.

The Stealth 600 headsets’ headband is wrapped with a breathable mesh fabric. The Stealth 700 headband is covered with synthetic leather. The Stealth 700 models also come with Bluetooth connectivity and an active noise cancellation feature.

Another noteworthy feature of the new headsets is the glasses-friendly design that alleviates the physical discomfort that emerges when a user is wearing glasses and headsets at the same time. The integrated Superhuman Hearing sound is yet another specification that gives headsets’ owners a competitive advantage during a game. The Stealth 700 for PS4 features DTS: Headphone:X surround sound technology, while the 600 models use the Turtle Beach Virtual Surround Sound.

As far as the battery life is concerned, players can count on 10-15 hours of usage in a single charge.

All four products (Stealth 600 for Xbox One and PS4, and Stealth 700 for Xbox One and PS4) are available for pre-order at Turtle Beach official webpage. They will be on display during the E3 Expo that kicks off on June 13th.
