The free weekend kicks off on Friday (September 22nd at 11 AM PT/2 PM ET/7 PM BST) and wraps up on Sunday (September 25th at 11:59 PM PT). During that time, fans of the popular shooter will have access to all 25 Overwatch heroes, and the 16 maps in a variety of modes, Custom Games, Arcade, Quick Play.

Players will be able to level up, earn loot boxes and unlock customization rewards. Their progress will be carried over if they decide to go for a full purchase when the free weekend is over and use the same login details.

The free weekend will be accessible across all platforms – PC, Xbox One, and PS4, respectively. However, to be able to take advantage of the free trial, PS4 owners need a PS Plus membership, and Xbox One players need an Xbox Live Gold membership. PC players need a Battle.net account.
