Expansion Pack to Be Deployed
Heads up! The Space strategy game Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is getting an expansion by the end of this month. This additional content will add a ten-mission story campaign, two new ships, and two new squadrons. А free update that revamps the UI and control scheme will also be included.
What We Know About ‘Resurrection’
The expansion announced last Friday was named Resurrection. It will be officially launched on August 29th by developer Black Lab Games. This newest story campaign will make players “face Cylon threats old and new, and battle side-by-side with the CIC crew of the Galactica.” There are also ten fully voiced story missions, and players can also tackle 13 resource missions to collect extra intel.
Two new ships are introduced as well, the powerful, heavily armored Jupiter Mk II and the Cylon Cratus-class basestar, a “behemoth of a ship that serves as a mobile operational base.”
Two new squadrons will make an appearance on this expansion, the Taipan, and the Vespids.
The Taipan which the Colonials have retrofitted from ancient fighter design is а “heavy-hitting anti-capital strike vehicle,” and undoubtedly, а hardy fighter.
On the other hand, the Cylons developed the Vespid, which is a swarm of swift bombers. They can quickly close in the distance and release high yield explosives on their targets.
Prepare for Season 2
The DLC signals the start of Battlestar Galactica Deadlock’s Season 2. We can remember that Resurrection is the fifth DLC for the game. The previous one, Sin and Sacrifice, added radio chatter and 11 new missions.
