Boston and Paris Play Host to LoL Summer Split Finals

Riot Games has revealed information about the upcoming Summer Split Finals scheduled to kick off from September 2nd to September 3rd. The event organizer announced that the EU LCS will take place in Paris, France, while the NA LCS will be hosted in Boston, Massachusetts.

EU LCS Summer Split Finals Details

Accor Hotels Arena will host the Summer Split Final event. The four best teams that have taken part in the EU LCS Summer Playoffs will compete against each other. Tickets for the matches on September 2nd will cost between €20 and €25 depending on whether the visitors choose a seat on the floor or on the bleacher. Tickets for the finals on September 3rd will cost between €25 and €30. Riot is currently considering the option of releasing ticket bundles for both days, but at the time of publishing, no exact pricing is available.

The team that triumphs at the Summer Split Finals qualifies for the 2017 World Championships and secures itself the Europe’s first seed title. The World Championships starts on September 23rd, in China. The team that gets the highest championship points becomes a runner-up and the second best team in Europe, respectively.

Rumor has it that apart from the Summer Finals matches, Riot is preparing other activities such as cosplay events, but these are yet to be confirmed.

Tickets will be available for purchase from June 30th onwards. It is important to note that the broadcast language inside the Accor Hotels Arena will be French, which may pose a problem to some visitors.

NA LCS Summer Finals Details

Riot has chosen the TD Garden in Boston as a NA LCS Summer Finals location. The event will take place on Sept. 2nd and 3rd. Likewise, the best four North American teams will play against one another. The winner will be proclaimed the best LoL team and it will represent North America at the 2017 World Championships in China. Tickets’ price is ranging between $35 and $85. North America-based LoL fans can also purchase ticket bundles and get 25% off the price. During the presale, single day tickets will also be available at a 10% discount.
