Destiny 2 developer Bungie and Loot Crate have joined forces to unleash a Destiny 2 Limited Edition Crate. The latter is available for pre-order at Loot Crate’s website.
For the time being, information about the included items remains scarce. The page prompts customers to select a hoodie size, which means the box will definitely include Destiny 2-themed wearable stuff. As for the other figures and collectibles, they are yet to be announced. The total value of the products is estimated at more than $90. The crate itself will be shipped mid-April 2018. Manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $50. Destiny 2 players who pre-order the crate before December 31 will also get a Cayde-6 pin.
Chris Davis, Loot Crate CEO, defined the Destiny 2 Limited Edition Crate as a “huge win for the fans of the Destiny franchise”. He went on to say that the joint venture of Loot Crate and Bungie will provide players with “one-of-a-kind fan experience”
This is not the first well-thought-out marketing move Bungie makes towards maintaining hype around Destiny 2. Earlier this year, the developer teamed up with Rockstar Energy Drink and Razer to provide players with more opportunities to make the most out of their gameplay.
Destiny 2 was released for PS4 and Xbox One in September. Its PC launch was on October 24. The sequel is now a 57% off on Amazon. The deal is valid until supplies last.
