Pink is no stranger to the gaming industry. His most recent position was with Hangar 13 where he designed the Mafia 3 and the Stones Unturned DLC. Before joining the Hangar in 2014, he worked at Telltale Games as a game designer of the Walking Dead Season 1, 2 and 400 days. Apart from that, he was also involved in the Tales from the Borderlands project.

As for Diablo 3, the game was first released in 2012 and Blizzard has sold more than 30 million copies since then. In 2014, Diablo fans were granted the Reaper of Souls expansion. During the years, Blizzard has been doing its best to keep the audience interested by releasing new content on a relatively regular basis. The developer also provided players with more chances to acquire new items and compete against each other.

Given the titles, included in Pink resume and his newly assumed role as a Diablo 3 designer, it is safe to presume that Diablo fans will not be disappointed.

The latest job postings on the Blizzard’s page created a lot of rumors about the future development path of the Diablo series. Now, when Pink has taken over the role of a senior designer, fans hope for an expansion, or better yet a Diablo 4 release. Undisclosed sources suggested that Blizzard was planning a MMO based on the series, but for the time being, it remains an unconfirmed speculation circulating across gaming forums.

Speaking of designers’ team changes, Brian Holinka left his position as WoW PvP designer to start working on another Blizzard project. Up to now, Blizzard has not confirmed what Holinka’s new venture would be. It is still unknown who would be the new WoW PvP designer either.
