The Danish agency RFRSH, known as a representative of several major e-sports teams, announced that it was going to host a CS:GO tournament. The $250,000 BLAST Pro Series will take place in November, at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. During the event, six seasoned CS:GO teams will compete against each other in an attempt to triumph as the first BLAST Pro Series’ winner.

RFRSH works in collaboration with PGL, the group organizing Krakow Major, and Anders Blume, a commentator, for the BLAST Pro Series event.

As far as the format is concerned, multiple matches will take place simultaneously and the game action will be displayed on screens. What is more, viewers will be given headsets for enhanced experience.

RFRSH has been interested in running its own e-sports events for quite some time. However, amidst the excitement about the BLAST Pro Series venture, the conflict of interests issue emerged.

RFRSH represents some of the most prominent e-sports teams, including GODSENT, Astralis, and Heroic. Their eventual participation in the BLAST Pro Series would undoubtedly be frowned upon.

As reported earlier by RealGear, RFRSH’s CEO Nikolaj Nyholm was an investor in Astralis. Agency’s co-founder Jakob Lund Kristense was among Astralis’ co-founders.  Although RFRSH’s model allows the agency to have a stake in the teams it works with, it remains uncertain if RFRSH owns a stake at any of the above-mentioned teams at all.

Meanwhile, RFRSH managed to secure yet another lucrative sponsorship deal for Astralis. The latter entered into a partnership with the Danish glass protection company PanzerGlass. The deal, facilitated with the help of Lagardère Sport Denmark, is worth almost $500,000. As a part of the deal, PanzerGlass will launch Astralis-branded products.

Previously, RFRSH helped Astralis close a seven-figure deal with the headset maker Turtle Beach, and yet another one with the automobile giant Audi.
