The major drawback is that those rests I spoke so favorably of <strong>encourage a palm grip<\/strong>. If you employ claw or fingertip gripping style, it will take a while to get used to the Mammoth. Also, lefties have no choice but to start searching for the best budget gaming mouse all over. The Mammoth comes with 8 increments and each of them adds 2.4 grams weight. You can also modify the centre of the mass and make the most out of your rodent. Keeping the price point in mind, the mouse looks and feels relatively sturdy. What\u2019s more, I dare to make a comparison between the scroll wheel of the Mammoth and Razer\u2019s profound DeathAdder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the right and left buttons, they seem a bit light in terms of click sensitivity. The mouse employs <strong>Omron switches<\/strong>, yet another praiseworthy feature. However, a slight distraction may result in a misclick. It takes some time to learn to control your fingers and prevent sliding them on the buttons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Wired_Mode_Only\">Wired Mode Only<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Redragon M801 is a corded mouse. I believe that\u2019s not a big surprise as rodents possessing wireless capabilities cannot be found in this price category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lack of a wireless option is a blessing and a curse, though. On one hand, you have to put up with yet another cable on your desk. On the other hand, corded rodents are praised for their accurate tracking and you <strong>never have to worry about a drained battery in the middle of demanding games<\/strong> such as&nbsp;the Unreal Tournament 3 or Call of Duty: World at War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Responsiveness_and_Sensor\">Responsiveness and Sensor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The DPI is what separates the wheat from the chaff. In other words, good gaming mice offer high DPI and remarkable accuracy. Believe it or not, the Mammoth features the <strong>insane 16,400 DPI<\/strong>. I do not know anyone who would need that much, but we have what we have. Well, okay maybe in the sniper mode a higher DPI is useful, but playing at 16,400 DPI all the time is just crazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The M801 also has a 1000Hz report rate and 30G acceleration. Its bottom is equipped with TEFLON feet pads. I believe these features speak volumes of its reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Software\">Software<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, the most baffling thing about such a modestly price mouse was the intuitive software. Most aspects of Mammoth\u2019s internal workings are totally customizable via the Redragon software. The latter enables you to tweak the scrolling speed, sensitivity, LED colors, acceleration, polling rate, button mapping. Your settings can be saved in up to five profiles. There is <strong>no need to fiddle with the settings every time you swap between different genres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Wrap_Up\">Wrap Up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are in the market for the best gaming mouse under 50, the Redragon M801 Mammoth is <strong>the optimal solution<\/strong>.
