However, in his latest announcement, Riot Meddler confirmed that the developer is planning on <strong>slowing down the Gameplay Updates for LoL champions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words, <strong>Riot is not going to rework as many champions as it used to.<\/strong> The announcement might not make a deep impression on players who are happy with what the latest patches have brought. However, those who have been hoping Riot to address some critical issues with a certain champ, might be disappointed to hear that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realgear.net\/patch-7-19-brings-huge-nerfs-buffs-leagues-azir\/\">massive reworks such as Azir\u2019s<\/a> will be postponed at least until the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Riot Meddler explained that the developer will put less time into Gameplay Updates and <strong>focus on \u201cgetting pre-season ready and (\u2026) balanced\u201d<\/strong> instead. He went on to say that Riot would resume the standard Gameplay Updates schedule in the beginning of 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is essential to note that there is a difference between the <strong>\u201cGameplay Updates\u201d and the \u201cVisual and Gameplay Updates\u201d.<\/strong> The Gameplay Updates bring tweaks to champs\u2019 abilities and playstyle, while the Visual and Gameplay Updates refer to champions that need some serious rework to fit in the meta. Riot Meddler reassured the LoL community that the schedule of <strong>this type of updates will remain unchanged.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest champions that have undergone major reworks include Evelyn, Warwick, and Urgot. According to the current schedule, <strong>the next champions in line are Swain and Aatrox.<\/strong> The former is expected to get a brand new kit, design, and lore.
