The developer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tactical-adventures.com\/\">Tactical Adventures, <\/a>a Paris-based\nfirm that was launched in 2018 by Amplitude Studios co-founder Mathieu Girard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Solasta: Crown of the Magister - Announcement Dev Diary\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aQ30CjTaHJo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=aQ30CjTaHJo\">development\ndiary, <\/a>Girard said that it aims &#8220;to bring the true tabletop\nroleplaying experience to videogames&#8221;. The debut diary also contains a\nsneak peek of the game such as pre-alpha gameplay footage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Of Dungeons and Dragons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Solasta seems heavily influenced and inspired by Dungeons\n&amp; Dragons, which Girard had pointed out in the video. Players will have to\ncreate a party of four adventurers of races and classes to start. Upon\ncompleting your party, you must guide them through different realms, while on a\nquest for treasures and adventures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We can finally talk about it! Tactical Adventures is not the first studio to take inspiration\nfrom the classic D&amp;D. BioWare already did it, with Baldur&#8217;s Gate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solasta is still in its early stages of development and with\nno original idea behind it. Nevertheless, the possibility of having a\nworthwhile tabletop RPG experience on PC has tons of players eager to try it\nout. Though it is still early to judge the game, we can&#8217;t deny that these\ndevelopments are worth looking into.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to be a part of the game, it is reported that a\nKickstarter to support Solasta is coming soon. The developers also announced\nthat there will be a demo. However, there is no explanation as to whether it\nwill be released as part of the crowdfunding campaign or at a later date.
