Epic Games is keen on adding more Fortnite features. Besides the new Avengers-themed event occurring this week, the fan favorite battle royale could get a Battle Pass gifting on the start of Season 9.
Fortnite News, as well as Twitter account @FNBRLeaks, has reported leaks about the Battle Pass gifting feature. The said information was related to datamined files that insinuate the ability to gift Battle Passes to other players in the upcoming season.
Nothing is made official because Epic Games hasn’t confirmed anything yet. Though the information seems reliable, data miners have been wrong before, so one can’t be too sure.
Epic in keeping things fresh
Epic has introduced a gifting system before for regular items like skins and gliders, so the idea of them adding the Battle Pass gifting is not farfetched.
Similarly to the previous gifting systems that were temporary, we can speculate that the availability of this feature, if it came to life, would be for a limited time too.
Welcome Season 9
Season 8 is already near its end as week 9 starts, so we are bound to know for sure whether this is real or a mere speculation.
This implied update follows a list of new features and changes that Fortnite has undergone in the past few weeks. The updates include new reboot vans that allowed players respawn after dying. Another feature is a limited time air royale mode, and new epic and legendary variants of the infantry rifle.
With Fortnite updates and additional contents getting rolled out, it seems that Epic Games is on a roll and has no intention of slowing down.
