The well-known manufacturer of gaming hardware Razer has added yet another peripheral to its ever-growing portfolio. A few hours ago, the company introduced on its official website the Razer Jugan gaming mouse.

The mouse seems to be predominantly tailored for fans of first person shooters. Razer Jugan is a corded, lightweight mouse that possesses three programmable buttons. Each of the buttons can be independently programmed via the software. The mouse has a 30G acceleration and 1000Hz polling rate. It weighs approximately 109 grams (3.80 oz) with a cable and 78 grams (2.75 oz) without a cable. The ambidextrous shape makes it suitable for both right- and left-handed players. The optical sensor allows a max DPI of 7,200.

It terms of aesthetics, Razer Jugan is equipped with RGB lighting and customers can choose between 16.8 million color options. The mouse supports the Razer Chroma Symphony light system. It is also the first Razer-branded mouse equipped with a surround belt at the bottom.

The Jugan will use the Razer Synapse Thunderbolt.  Apart from the standard customization features, the software will allow players to take advantage of the new Hyper-shift technology and temporarily reassign key functions.

Razer has never been among the companies that specify strict release dates for its peripherals. The Jugan debut is not an exception either.  Razer has not disclosed any information regarding mouse’s launch. The announcement at the website reads that it is “coming soon”.

As for the other recent releases, Razer has recently unleashed the Razer Hammerhead Pro V2 earphones in an attempt to cater the mobile gamers. As previously reported by RealGear, Razer has apparently spotted the vast potential of the mobile gaming market. Company’s CEO, Min-Liang Tan, confirmed Razer’s ambitions to conquer the mobile gaming segment. The Thresher gaming headset is also expected to become available at all major online retailers any moment now.
