The Taiwanese hardware giant Asus announced that it has added yet another product to its FX series. The company introduced the Asus FX503 gaming laptop aimed towards casual players. As its name suggests the FX503 is a successor to the FX502 launched this time last year.

Asus FX503 is an ultra-thin gaming laptop that has all-aluminium chassis and a grey brushed hairline finish. The 7th Generation Intel Core processor, Intel HM175 Express chipset, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-series graphics, and Microsoft DirectX 12 support are some of its biggest selling points.

The base variant of the device will be powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i5 7300HQ processor. As for the high-end version, it will feature the latest Intel Core i7 7700HQ processor.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card featuring 2GB/ 4GB of GDDR5 video memory ensures flawless visual effects. Users can also settle for 1TB 5400RPM/7200RPM SATA HDD or upgrade to 128GB/256GB/512GB SATA3 M.2 SSD storage if they need to. The FX503 can be purchased with either Windows 10 Home or 10 Pro OS.

The laptop’s keyboard has anti-ghosting capabilities, N-key rollover, and red backlit scissor-switch keys that offer 1.8mm of travel distance. The FX503 comes with a multi-gesture touchpad, outlined in red, too.

The exact dimensions of the FX503 gaming laptop are 384 x 262 x 24 mm (W x D x H). It is heavier than its predecessor by only 100 grams and tips the scales at 2.3kg (approx 5 pounds).
