The Bluehole CEO, Gang-Seok Kim, appointed Chang Han Kim as the Chief Executive Officer. Kim led the development of PUBG and he also used to work as a Bluehole Vice President and Executive Producer.

Mr Kim was quoted as saying that the PUBG Corp. would ensure the required operational efficiency to support the game. He went on to say that the team was actively seeking strategic business opportunities and the new structure [PUBG Corp.-Ed] would allow the team to turn the PUBG into a global IP franchise.

Woonghee Cho has been appointed as a PUBG Corp. COO. He will be responsible for managing the global operations of the PUBG and accelerating the overall business development. Mr Cho has previously assumed the roles of a Maui Games’ CEO and a head of business development for Neowiz.

Currently, PUBG has an office in the US but according to the released information, it will soon expand to Europe and Japan. The global expansion is expected to provide “more centralized points of contact for players around the world.”

As RealGear reported, PUBG has recently passed the 1.5 million concurrent users’ mark. It is expected to be available on Xbox One before the end of the year.
