In a Tweet, posted mere hours ago, Rockstar Games teased that it will share more details about the Red Dead Redemption 2. The tweet is pretty vague, but the font and background are clearly from Red Dead Redemption. The announcement reads:  “Thursday, September 28, 11 AM ET”.

For the time being, players can only second-guess what is the next revelation Rockstar is going to make. A new trailer or information about the release date itself are among the suggestions fans put forward.

It has been months since Rockstar posted an update about the Red Dead Redemption 2. The title was slated for release this fall, but at the end of May, Rockstar announced that its launch was put off until spring 2018.

As RealGear reported, Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive justified the Red Dead Redemption 2 delay with the GTA V Gunrunning update. Expectedly, players who have been anticipating the RDR 2 were less than amused by the announcement, while GTA fans were pleased with how Take-Two has sorted out its priorities.

Red Dead Redemption 2 release date is yet to be specified. Nevertheless, Rockstar confirmed that the game would hit PS4 and Xbox One next year. There is no word whatsoever of its possible PC launch.
