The electronics giant MSI published a press release to announce that it has added yet another peripheral to its gaming line-up. The MSI Immerse GH70 gaming headset is expected to become available at major online and offline retailers by the end of July. At the time of writing, MSI has not disclosed the price of GH70.
According to people familiar with Immerse GH70 technical characteristics, its biggest selling point will be the Hi-Res certified driver units. Another feature that makes the headset suitable for casual and hardcore gamers is the virtual 7.1 channel surround sound that enables players to track down enemies’ whereabouts, hear explosions from miles away, listen to music and communicate with teammates via a voice platform.
The headset also arrives with RGB lighting, which has somehow become MSI’s trademark as far as the gaming merchandise is concerned. The Mystic Light RGB will allow users to customize the appearance of their Immerse GH70 and choose between millions of color schemes and patterns.
Representatives of the Taiwan-based company elaborated that the crystal clear sound should be attributed to the 50mm neodymium driver units that have a Hi-Res certification. The headset will be fully customizable via the Mystic Light software.
In terms of design and ergonomics, the GH70 features a flexible headband, swivelling ear cups, and removable ear pads. Users will be able to switch between leather and a soft cloth.
The Immerse GH70 is the fourth gaming headset in MSI line-up. Previously, the company has rolled out the Immerse GH10, as well as the DS501 and DS502 models. The Taiwanese giant has been mainly focused on crafting laptops, motherboards and monitors lately. Still, the release of the Immerse GH70 headset should serve as an indication that the company is determined to regain its leadership positions on the gaming accessories’ market.
